The NBAwire Message Boards began in 2003 as an extension of the original website which was previously only an aggregate of various other news sources as well as a reliable website for NBA Trade Rumors.
From early 2003 to late 2005, the NBAwire forums used the yaBB Gold Software for its Message Boards. Realizing the extreme limitations of yaBB, eventually NBAwire’s forums migrated to vBulletin. On the vBulletin platform, the NBAwire Message Boards continued to grow and ultimately reached 15,000+ members and 1,000,000+ posts.
In early 2009, the forums were restarted with a blank slate. Within months, the NBAwire has become an active forum with nearly 300 members, and 30,000+ posts. The NBAwire Message Boards are home to one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable communities, so get plugged in!
