Blazers satisfied ‘as-is’
With centers Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla both out for the year, speculation has been raised about whether the Portland Trail Blazers would make any deals to acquire another big man to fill in for them.
However, Blazers General Manager Kevin Pritchard told the Sacramento Bee he is satisfied with youngsters Jeff Pendergraph and Daunte Cunningham manning the post.
“I like what I’ve seen in our young bigs — I really like what I see in those two guys, and I want to see what they can do over the course of a 20- or 30-game span,” Pritchard told the Bee.
